Karen Day 10
Karen Day 10
Our dear friends in Riverside, CA drove up today to pick us up in Turlock. We haven’t seen them in 3 years and it was so exciting when they drove up, all I could do was laugh! Praise God for special friends like Scott & Kristy that the passing of time does not take away the true love that is there.
On the way back to their home in Southern Cal. We had a wonderful time of catching up on our families and encouraging one another in the things that God is calling us to do.
We stopped along the way at a church in Glendora to enjoy a choir concert by the Cal Baptist University Womens Choir. Scott & Kristy’s daughter Holly, sings in it and we were totally blessed by the music. I think that the words to the songs were even more meaningful after having been walking in the presence of Almighty God. It was so powerful and moving that Gaylon and I cried through at least half of the concert. So beautiful, they sounded like angels.
My love and prayers to you all,
Karen

Karen & Galen – Into the voice of God. “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him” – but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things , even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. 1 COR. 2:9-13 Greetings from Paradise. Have been thinking of you two often- missing you but at the same time rejoicing with you while you’re following God’s small still voice. I was thinking of all the distractions in our lives that we have talked about and thought you both could be just as distracted by what you don’t have if you did’nt stay focused on HIM. We prayed for you at bible study tonight, that He would keep you well & focused & for those that He brought across your path, for their needs to be met thru you(Him). Icame across this scripture the other day that I feel is for you- Psalm 145; 13b-21 The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made. The Lord upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to You, and You(Lord) give them their food at the proper time. You open Your hand(O Lord) and satisfy the desires of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways and loving toward all He has made. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them. The Lord watches over all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy. My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise His holy name for ever and ever.” Amen LOVE YOU GUYS! Grace and peace to you and may God keep your feet strong! Maybe He’ll send a reflexologist your way to bless you since I can’t be there……
