Does Your Life Really Suck?
Do you feel like there’s got to be more than what you are living? Do you feel unfulfilled? If you don’t feel this way, is it because you have it all figured out or do you just not think about it? I have not personally met anyone that was truly fulfilled. There’s always something more that we want: a bigger house, a nicer car, a better relationship, a better job, more money, more knowledge, more, more, more, or we wish that they could be or have done something different (regret). Why is that? Have you ever asked yourself this question? Have you ever blamed someone else for making your life the way that it is? Have you ever blamed God? Is there even a God? If God is real, what the heck does He want with me anyway? I believe in Jesus, shouldn’t that make my life better than someone else that doesn’t? Oh, I know the answer to that question, Jesus came that so when I die I can go to heaven and right now I’m just suffering for Him. What a load of crap!
We have been fed lie after lie to the point of not knowing what truth is. For many, there is not even a standard truth, but only what they perceive as truth as it relates to them. Most of us have double standards: one for us and one for everybody else. Why is it that almost none of us can come to agree on any one thing? The answer is simple: Satan, the adversary, has used deception to raise himself as god, and very successfully has he hindered man from living according to his designed purpose. Yes, there is a very real enemy that comes to steal, kill, and destroy. We are so incredibly deceived!
It is not my goal or even my responsibility to prove that God or Satan is real. If you are looking for me to prove something to you, you are looking to the wrong person. My purpose is to simply shine the light of the Gospel, the Word, the Truth, into the darkness of this world and expose the lies that bind us from ever truly knowing God and living according to His exceedingly great promises of eternal life.
In future posts on this blog we will walk through many of the toughest ideas to grasp due to the indoctrinated state of our fallen mind that is full of the wisdom of this world. We will see how Adam fell, what he fell from, and the fallen state that man has walked in ever since. We will explore why Adam fell, the Tempter, and the deceptions through which the enemy has total access to our lives. We will see how man was redeemed and the restored relationship of God and man. We will find out authority and power Satan has versus the authority and power that the believer has. And finally, much of our time will be spent exploring the depths of the fulfilled life that has been promised for us to walk in while on this earth.
Do not take one word of this blog as the Truth, but may it drive you to Him who is the Truth, the Way, and the Life, Yahushua the Anointed One (Jesus Christ). May the Holy Spirit grant you wisdom and understanding by revealing the Truth through intimate relationship. Grace and peace be multiplied to you through knowing Him.
